RESPONSIBILITIES

Including but not limited to:

• Demonstrate a heart to see at-risk young people flourish
• Create an environment that educationally disengaged young people will love to attend
• Promote and inspire learning among a group of educationally disengaged young people
• Employ a variety of effective teaching strategies.
• Work collaboratively to ensure the achievement of excellent academic and socio-emotional outcomes for students
• Support a culture in which students experience positive relationships and safety
• Care for the student cohort in a way that reflects the college values
• Differentiate the teaching of the curriculum to ensure that the needs of all individuals are met
• Understand and implement the college education approaches.
• Be sensitive to students experiencing academic, personal, social or challenges.
• Work positively and collaboratively under the leadership of the Assistant Principal, and as part of a highly collegial team.

Essential requirements to be considered for the role

• A committed Christian
• Passionate about helping disadvantaged young people to improve their lives
