POSITION INFORMATION

The Benedict Tutorial Program is located across three Chifley College Campuses, Mt Druitt, Dunheved and Shalvey. Each campus has a class of seven students with individual learning and behavioural needs. Positions will be located at the Dunheved and Shalvey Campus.
The program provides an age appropriate short-term intervention that enables students to develop skills and strategies in the areas of social and emotional, behaviour and individual academic learning needs in a small group setting of seven students.
The curriculum is delivered through a variety of teaching and learning experiences, to cater for the individual needs of all students. Literacy, Numeracy and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is the core focus in improving student learning outcomes in this program. The aim of the program is to facilitate the re-engagement of students and offer them opportunities to achieve success in education.
