POSITION INFORMATION
Woolgoolga High School is located 25km north of Coffs Harbour. The school is home to students from varied backgrounds including a large Sikh community. Woolgoolga High School has quality facilities and is located in a natural bushland and coastal environment. The current enrolment is 840 students, including 140 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. The school is situated on the traditional lands of the Gumbaynggirr people whose language is part of the school curriculum. Woolgoolga High School is currently embarking on a significant technology direction and is a school where students are treated with respect and as individuals. An exemplary student wellbeing system is in place and learning is our priority. The focus areas are literacy, numeracy, Aboriginal education and maximising student engagement.
