The student population continues to grow with a current enrolment of 750 students. 7% of students have a background where English is an additional language or dialect (EAL/D) and 19% are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The school forms part of the Gateway Learning Community of schools who, as a group, provide a continuous path of learning for all students.

The student body are represented in decision making processes across the school through both the Student Voice Team and the Junior Aboriginal Education Consultative Group.
