We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Teacher Visual Arts to join our team of dedicated educators. The ideal candidate will have a passion for art education and a strong background in visual arts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals
- Teach a variety of art techniques and processes to students, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their artwork
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking skills through art projects
- Organize and display student artwork in school exhibitions and showcases
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art education into other subject areas
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or related field
- Teaching certification
- Previous experience teaching art at the elementary, middle, or high school level
- Strong artistic skills and knowledge of various art mediums and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching
- Passion for fostering a love of art and creativity in students
