JOB DESCRIPTION

We are recruiting for a teaching assistant to work in various Primary Schools in and around Erdington on a day-to-day supply basis. WORKING FOR FLOURISH EDUCATION AS A TEACHING ASSISTANT (TA) YOU WILL RECEIVE:

Responsibilities:

THE TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE (TA):

  • Building trusting relationships with the pupils
  • Ensure the safety of the children in the class
  • Contribute to a safe, engaging and positive learning environment
  • Work closely with the class teacher
  • Potentially conduct small group work when needed

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE FOR THIS TEACHING ASSISTANT (TA) ROLE:

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Good curriculum knowledge of either Early years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
  • A minimum of 2 excellent references
