You will be working in a year 1 class, supporting the class teacher to provide fun and engaging lessons. As the teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting with the day to day running of the classroom.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To work under the instruction/guidance of senior/teaching staff to undertake work/care/support programmes
- To enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
- To support the delivery of quality learning both in the classroom or outside the main teaching area to help raise standards of achievement for all pupils.
- To encourage the participation, the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
