Position Summary:

Only registered McGill students can be hired as TAs

  • Contract Period: Tuesday, September 03, 2024 to Friday, December 23, 2024.
  • Aid students via myCourses.
  • Aid instructors with designing quiz questions
  • Be available to answer e-mail inquiries or direct questions. Hours flexible.
  • Provide a review session upon completion of each course module.
  • Grade exams throughout the semester as discussed with course coordinators and instructors.

Qualifications:

Only registered McGill students can be hired as TAs

  • Student enrolled in the Graduate Program in the Department of Biochemistry.
  • Qualified candidate must have received final grade of “A” in BIOC 311 (or equivalent course on Metabolism, or demonstrated research experience on Metabolism).
  • Knowledge of active learning pedagogy OR Attendance to workshops on pedagogy is an asset.

Language Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills in English are essential. French is an asset.
