REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

• Strong command of English as a language of instruction
• Pedagogical certificate to educate and/or take care of children
• Have a proven track record (references) of being a responsible employee
• An appreciation of the IB Philosophy
• Epitomises the School’s values of Happiness, Kindness, and Imagination and definition

of Educational Distinction

• Valid working permit / permission to work in Austria

Desirable:

• Already be a confident and enthusiastic educator with experience in the Primary School

and/or Middle School

• Knowledge and experience in the IB PYP Programme and Curriculum
• Experience in using ManageBac software for planning, assessment & reporting for the

IB Continuum

• Valid First Aid Certification

• Support of Primary teachers, in particular the class teacher of the assigned class
• Take responsibility for yourself and be a proactive individual
• Help with special educational measures (e.g.: one-to-one tuition)
• Participate in after-school activities
• Support regarding differentiation tasks in accordance with the relevant teachers
• Commit in areas of self-study, e.g., professional development etc.
