Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Step Teachers are working with a mainstream primary school in Friern Barnet looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a student in Year 4 with Global Delay with good behaviour. This role is offered from March 2024, on an ongoing basis. For the right Teaching Assistant, there is an opportunity for a permanent contract.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent would be desirable
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
- Experience working with children with SEND, specifically global delay
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parent
