Description:

Tradewind Recruitment is actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding school in the East Riding/East Hull area.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the classroom teacher and fellow school team members to craft and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each pupil. The position offers a competitive salary, aligning with Teaching Assistant pay scales and ranging from £380 to £450 per week. The role is to start ASAP and is until July. This is on a full time basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience working with EYFS/Nursery-aged pupils, preferably within a Primary School setting.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish robust connections with pupils, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
Patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach in supporting young learners with SEND.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
This is a full-time role with an immediate start date. The successful candidate will benefit from the support and guidance of a dedicated team and have access to ongoing professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support, fostering an environment conducive to individualized learning.
Develop and execute tailored learning plans in conjunction with the classroom teacher and school team.
Monitor pupil progress, regularly reporting findings to both the teacher and parents/guardians.
Cultivate a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere for pupils.
