Description:

An opportunity has arisen within the Milton Keynes Specialist CAMHS Team based at Eaglestone Health Centre for a full time Team Administrator to work within a busy fast paced administration office.
This role comes with a variety of responsibilities where no two days are the same. The CAMHS service has an established administration support team who offer varying levels of support to the clinical team and service users, this can range from organising meetings, completing minutes, typing reports, scheduling appointments and supporting service user who arrive at the clinic.
The role is full time and based within Eaglestone Health Centre on the MKUH hospital campus. Previous NHS experiences would be advantageous but not essential. You must have demonstrable administration experience along with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
The post will be part of an administration team that exists to provide an important administrative and Out Patient service to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. This is to include using computerised information systems, collating statistics and returns as required by the Trust, word-processing, developing, maintaining filing systems and being the first point of contact for patients, relatives/carers and other professionals.

To be the first point of contact by phone and walk in visitors into the department and Out Patients Department in the absence of the team receptionist.
To ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in an appropriate and polite manner and that an appropriate response is initiated.
Record arrival of patients
Support in the follow up clinic documentation
Co-ordinate patient appointments as requested and including appointment invite, sending relevant literature, ensure appointment is managed in the diary and clinic room is booke
