We have an exciting opportunity for a team administrator to join us in developing our plans for a new hospital for Airedale. On 25 May 2023, the Government announced that Airedale General Hospital will be rebuilt by 2030, in recognition of the current structural issues facing the existing hospital.
This is a once in a generation opportunity to be involved in a major hospital development and we are seeking an enthusiastic Team Administrator to support the Head of Programme Management Office and other senior managers.
The post holder will be required to provide a high quality, professional, effective and efficient administrative service for the Securing the Future Team with supporting the New Hospital and RAAC Programmes
Provide a comprehensive, high quality administrative support to the Securing the Future programme and team, following all relevant operational policies, procedures and work practices, to ensure timely processing of all business related information.
To undertake duties to ensure the smooth day to day running of the service. This would require an ability to prioritise ongoing workloads, to work under minimal supervision and use own initiative to ensure successful completion.
Use Microsoft Office and in-house programmes to effectively manage the diaries of the Programme Management Team which includes making appointments, arranging meetings and monitoring attendees, whilst ensuring the team are aware of diary commitments.
Provide strong customer service by managing telephone calls, face-to-face, and email queries in a manner that is consistent with Trust policies and procedures, whilst demonstrating effective communication skills and discretion, dealing with issues as they arise. If appropriate, taking accurate written messages and passing more complex queries to relevant staff members where required.
Using SharePoint and in-house systems to support effective communications, liaising with the communications team and project teams, and managing the team’s AireShare (intranet) page.
Supporting various workshops.
We are always looking for enterprising and innovative approaches to the way we provide our services. We are a national centre for telemedicine and introduced telehealth to the UK offender healthcare sector and also provide the service to patients in their care homes. Community matters to us and we are supported by 400 dedicated volunteers and have strong links with Bradford University, Craven College and Leeds City College to ensure we inspire the workforce of the future.
We want to attract staff who embrace our Right Care behaviours of compassion, a commitment to quality of care and working together for patients we want to make these part of our DNA.
