This is a versatile role with a growth path of your choosing. You can expect a mix of responsibilities in administration, finance, business development, and operations. You’ll be acting as team and executive assistant, office manager, accounting assistant, event planner, and special project support. This will give you the opportunity to get to know the company inside and out, work with all departments, broaden your skill set in many dimensions and develop in the direction of your strength and passion.

What You’ll Do

  • Organisational support for the whole team – help in organising social and team events, support team members with travel arrangements and other logistical tasks, manage calendars and schedule calls, support HR and other departments with various projects and organisational needs
  • Office manager duties – coordinate external suppliers like the cleaning team, make sure snack cabinets and drink fridges are stocked up with the team’s favourites, make sure appliances and general surroundings are in order and the office is healthy and functioning, welcome guests, and otherwise make sure the office is a fun and welcoming environment for everyone!
  • Finance support – work closely with our Senior Finance Manager to help with organisation and administration of finances like collecting invoices, preparing and putting together expenditure and budget spreadsheets
  • Special projects – support all teams with any ad hoc projects that will inevitably come up. Be the glue and driving force behind initiatives, making sure teams are enabled to perform at their best

What You’ll Need

  • Passion for learning and a growth mindset. This is a role that will require a lot of context switching and organisational skills, with an ever changing job description
  • You are fluent in English and German (B2 or better) to comfortably communicate with everybody in and outside our company
  • Familiarity with the Google Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, etc) or Microsoft Office Suite. You’ve used Excel or Google Sheets before and can put together e.g. a basic budget spreadsheet
  • Excellent organisational skills to keep tabs on all live projects and to-do’s
  • A customer service mindset – willingness to help and support where needed and making sure everyone has the right tools and resources to do their job
  • A positive mind and spirit – we’re a team that also likes to have fun and you should be able to drive socialising efforts!
  • If you’re not sure if you’re a fit, here’s a list of previous experience that would be helpful in this role: Event Manager (Veranstaltungskaufmann/-frau), Hospitality Experts (Hotelfachfrau/-mann), Executive Assistant, Office Manager, Administrator, Hotel Staff / Manager

What We Promise

  • A work environment that will be interesting every day, with versatile tasks, lots of interactions with others and the possibility to personally contribute to the success and happiness of our team.
  • A company with a track record of sustainable & profitable growth and no layoffs ever
  • Great possibilities for personal development through challenging tasks, strong team members and experienced mentors
  • The opportunity to grow out of this role and join another team, be it Finance, Sales, Business Development, or anything else you take a particular affinity to
  • The chance to join Neuraum Ventures at a truly interesting point in the company’s history and the opportunity to shape the future of building for a better life!
  • A friendly and ambitious team that values the importance of a fun work environment
  • Regular team events, a modern office in Berlin-Kreuzberg (with a view on Landwehrkanal) and flexible working hours to help balance your day-to-day life
