ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced administrative professional, ideally from a corporate administration background, who demonstrates initiative, independence, and strong problem-solving skills. Previous experience working as a personal assistant or similar is also a plus!
The ideal candidate will maintain high-level written and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrate excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills. The successful candidate will have suitable proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and demonstrate adaptability and confidence in learning new software and systems.
You’ll be a proactive self-starter who seeks out opportunity for efficiency and enhancement, both in processes and in your own professional development.
There is no minimum qualification requirement to be considered for this position, however qualifications in business administration and other relevant fields with be highly regarded.
Applicants are required to be a current Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have a suitable working visa.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to our COO, this is a fantastic opportunity for an intermediate administrative professional to grow their career in a welcoming and encouraging team.

As Team Assistant, you will be working with a diverse range of stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds which will require you to:

  • Correspond with the ATO for any required extensions, remission of penalties etc.
  • Register GST, TFNs, and ABNs with the Australian Government
  • Collate financial statements and tax returns
  • Manage all client correspondence including, but not limited to, tender documents, letters, emails
  • Manage the Debtors process on behalf of the Firm
  • Maintain the client database system
  • Assist with Firm Risk Management tasks and activities
  • Update required workflows
  • Prepare and send marketing emails and other collateral
  • Assist the COO with project and event organisation and management
  • Assist members of the Firm with any ad-hoc tasks or activities, commensurate with the role
  • Covering the Reception desk, when required
  • Any other duties as described in the PD for the role, or as required
