DESCRIPTION:

About the role
Our team deliver the best possible results for stakeholders in cases of personal or business financial distress. Our Restructuring & Recovery team administer all forms of insolvency, reconstruction and recovery appointments, no matter the size or the issues at hand.
As we continue to grow, we offer an exciting opportunity for a Team Assistant to join our Brisbane based team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in provide top-tier administrative support to our senior leadership while also playing a crucial role in fostering connections with our valued clients and representing the firm.
Setting up and managing client matter files, including entering receipts and payments and setting up payments on online banking platforms
Preparing and dispatching standard letters related to client matters and retrieving correspondence and records.
Undertaking regular bank reconciliations for client matter files and preparing fees, fee adjustments, and write-offs.
Providing general administration support to the Directors and Insolvency & Reconstruction business unit, including general administration tasks and development/maintenance of standard templates.
Performing other general office and client matter administration duties as required, such as filing, copying, scanning, saving documents, archiving.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

About you
Demonstrated office administration experience (experience within the professional services industry and/or a Chartered Accounting firm will be highly regarded)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and well developed computer literacy
High level of attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
A collaborative approach to teamwork and the ability to build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders
A driven individual, who has a genuine desire to help people and a focus on exceeding your personal, as well as the wider teams’ goals
