An exciting opportunity has become available for a Haemophilia & haemoglobinopathy team co-ordinator working within the Unplanned Care Group.
The post holder will be responsible for the supervision and delivery of key functions within the haemophilia & haemoglobinopathy services. This will include supporting the delivery of key performance indicators as agreed with the Team Manager/Business Support Manager to the benefit of patient experience.
The successful candidate will lead a team of Medical Secretaries & administrative staff to ensure efficient and effective systems of work are carried out and that internal service departments experience an excellent service for their patients. Be able to showcase the ability to work alongside and with Consultant medical staff, Counsellors, Directorate managers and other clinical staff as appropriate.
In addition the post holder will play a key role in supporting the Team Manager with the day to day running of the departments. Experience of Patient Pathway Management would be advantageous and the successful candidate must be efficient, well organised and able to communicate well at all levels.
An appropriate speed and accuracy of typing is required for this role and this will be assessed at interview
