Role/ Department:
The Alternative Asset teams have a global operating model. The team provides middle & back office operational support to investment management clients across a wide range of alternative asset types including, FohF, Mutual Funds and Leveraged Loans. . For Bank Loans we support the asset lifecycle post trade to Client Reporting, including, Transaction Capture, Asset Set Up, Loan Settlement, Lifecycle Management, Market Reconciliations & Client Service. This is a high profile role supporting Tier 1 client base.
Based in Limerick, the Team Leader (“TL”) will be responsible for a team providing middle office services for Bank Loan assets to an EMEA Investment Management Client base. This is a broad role ensuring BKL related transactions for corporate and institutional clients are managed in accordance with pre- defined service standards and KPIs. The role entails development of team members to provide an efficient service to our high profile clients.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Lead, manage & inspire your team to with the overall goal of delivering top class operational services to clients in accordance with pre- defined service standards and KPIs.
  • Defines the team’s purpose; influences the prioritisation of work and the allocation of resources to deliver on client commitments.
  • Sets clear goals and expectations and ensure regular updates to ensure self and team members achieving them.
  • Develop strong relationships with all clients, develop and maintains effective relationships with critical business partners & other internal groups e.g. IOO, Fund Accounting
  • Tracks service & delivery results against SLD, maintains service & delivery issues log, drives accountability and closure of issues in a timely manner. Ensures procedures are fit for purpose.
  • Promotes by example and actions the highest standards of integrity, accountability & client service

Skills/ Qualifications:

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

  • Ability to lead, manage & motivate a team
  • Significant experience working within Asset Servicing or Custody environment
  • Track record of building and maintaining strong and effective working relationships at all levels across the organisation and also externally to clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultancy skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with local & global partners to ensure service delivery within strict deadlines
  • A willingness to learn and be creative within the role
  • Experience gained working within the alternative funds industry an advantage
