We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and be able to lead a small team of engineers. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, developing, innovating, designing and testing electrical components, equipment, systems and networks.

Essential Functions:

• Design innovative and advanced solutions.
• Simulate, analyze, test, and debug microwave systems and components.
• Design, analyze, test, and debug analog and digital circuitry that accompanies microwave components and systems.
• Conduct schematic entry and PCB layout for above circuits.
• Work with mechanical engineering to ensure the physical assembly of a complete system.
• Simulate microwave structures and conduct virtual test models to ensure effective performance.
• May purchase the parts for builds, manufacture the circuit board, coordinate with subs for reflow work, etc.
• Anticipate, analyze and solve unique and complex problems and suggests new and/or significantly reengineered processes important to the company’s success.
• Provide leadership in the definition and evolution of processes and standards.
• Make critical resource recommendations to corporate management as needed.
• Provide leadership for proposals and business capture activities.
• Serve as a Principle Investigator on projects; to include content development for proposals.
• Responsibly and respectfully interact with customers and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and project alignment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Maintain US Citizenship.
• Maintain Security Clearance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to be flexible and learn new concepts and technologies on the job.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with programming languages (JAVA, C/ C++, Python/TensorFlow/Scikit-Learn, MATLAB, and ML frameworks).
• Excellent ability to build models using programs such as: Ecad, Microwave Office, CST for simulations, and passive 3DEM analysis, Cadence Virtuoso.
• Familiarity with functional programming concepts and styles a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with senior engineers and translate results from complex analytics into elegant data products.
• Ability to work effectively and comfortably with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and support staff.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
• Work experience: BS/MS, 10+ yrs. relevant work experience or PhD, 6+ yrs. relevant work experience.
• Proven record of technical leadership in job area.
