Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE
As a the manager of the FAST London team, you will play an active role in the UK hub, leading a team and recommending solutions to identified issues and weaknesses.
The FAST team is in charge of developing a risk monitoring tool on equities, commodities, credit and rates assets.
The role provides a unique opportunity to join the FAST team within the Global Markets IT Risk and to be directly involved in reinforcing the governance and enhance the FAST application. The London team is a key team involved in all the transformation projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing the FAST London GM team: Training the team and providing guidance and clear objectives.
IT Development for Rates, FX and Commodities perimeters
Provide Support for the trading Desks
Provide effective communication within ﴾and across project teams﴿ such that all resources are clear on individual objectives, team goals and the effects / implications of other projects
Liaise with resources and departments outside the project’s direct control which are necessary to ensure the project delivery, building relationships as necessary to achieve these goals
Support other teams and assist in the evolution of the wider IT strategy and architecture, ensuring adherence to Group IT standards and architecture
Maintain and develop relationships with key staff in non‐IT areas, and develop a strong and productive relationship between Development, APS, Research, ITP and other teams
Collaborate and share knowledge via shared discussions, brown‐bags, communities of practice, training, coaching, mentoring etc.
Ensure own skills and those of team are matched to current project ﴾both functionally and technically﴿ and identify opportunities for team members that benefit both the individual and CIB
