REQUIREMENTS
- 2-4 years previous experience in warehouse operations is mandatory.
- 2 years+ managing a team.
- Previous experience in working alongside customs authorities.
- Excellent coordination & follow up skills.
- Excellent English communications skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Luxury Closet is looking for an experienced Team Lead in our Warehouse Team. The role will oversee the warehouse operations in our two warehouses located in Al Quoz and Dubai Commerce City. In this role, you will manage and monitor the fulfillment of customer orders, manage the inventory as well as maintain accurate records in line with the requirements of authorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of team members
- Daily allocation and monitoring of tasks and duties.
- Performance management including appraisals, coaching, and managing holiday and absence of team members.
Management of Inbound process
- Streamline and create processes to ensure all supplier deliveries are received, checked, processed, and put away within agreed timelines.
- Ensure all transfers are processed immediately upon arrival into the warehouse.
- Analyze physical stock to ensure it aligns with booked stock.
- Ensure stock visibility is managed correctly.
Supporting Returns process
- Ensure all customer returns are received, checked, and put away within timelines.
- Liaise with appropriate departments when non-conformance or poor-quality returns are received.
Reporting
- Provide reports to the Warehouse Manager as and when requested.
- Produce internal performance reporting in order to monitor and assess quality and trends.
- Ensure all customs documentation and declarations are in order and maintained efficiently.
- Monitor submission and reconciliation of stocks with our systems vs customs system.
Communication
- Brief staff weekly on operational targets and achievements.
- Ensure warehouse expenses are in line with the budget set
- Escalate issues to senior management within an appropriate time frame.
- Provide warehouse management with end of day / shift handover information.
