Description:
The post holder will work as a member of the Food Production team and supervise a large team of chefs & assistants in order to provide a high quality food operation for our patients. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that a high standard of food is continuously produced including main courses and vegetables, salads, bakery and therapeutic diets.
The post holder will be based at City Campus but may be required to work at QMC should the need arise.
Working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts between 06:00 & 18:30 Monday to Sunday. Rota pattern
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and food safety in the Food Production areas.
The post holder is responsible for ensuring the production of all types of food is made to the expected standards required of the department.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring all areas of Food Production are staffed to the agreed levels and that the Trust Food Safety Management System is implemented and maintained.
