Description:

Your Contribution- Lead the development and delivery of innovative, data driven HR products, services and polices to internal stakeholders, across a range of human resource management activities including: - Workforce planning and change management.- Performance and behaviour management- Recruitment and selection- Learning and development- Conflict resolution- Conditions of employment- Health, wellbeing, and rehabilitation services- Reporting- Provide leadership, clear direction, and support to the HR team to ensure that activities operate efficiently and effectively, and facilitating team members’ commitment to objectives and standards including: - Fostering the development of a co-operative, high performing work group that is client service focused.- Fostering the development of team members’ technical and interpersonal capabilities- Modelling ethical and effective behaviours.- Lead the development and implementation of major election projects including recruitment and payroll processing of Temporary Election Staff for all elections.- Educate, coach and support ECQ line managers to fulfill their ongoing people management responsibilities.- Actively manage and develop positive and effective relationships with external parties such the Public Sector Commission, Queensland Shared Services, and other third-party vendors who support the delivery of human resource services.- Provide timely and high quality advice to the Director, Corporate Services and other senior management team members regarding human resource management and change management issues impacting ECQ objectives.- Consistently display the ECQ and Queensland Government values, ensuring that these are upheld at all levels of the organisation.
