The Smith Family is a children’s education charity that helps young Australians experiencing disadvantage to create better futures for themselves through harnessing the power of education.
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our family. Reporting to the Regional Programs Manager and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will provide leadership and support to a geographically dispersed team responsible for the implementation of Learning for life programs in accordance with practice guidelines, program fidelity requirements and internal processes, within their communities of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Managing team performance by having regular one on one meetings; giving and receiving feedback; conducting formal and informal performance and development reviews and planning discussions.
- Working with a coaching mindset, develop team members capability to perform current and future roles at The Smith Family.
- Supporting the state team to reach deliverables as part of our 5 Year Strategic Plan.
- Being accountable for the targets linked to your team and/or state. Taking steps to support the team to meet targets across all programs.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships within The Smith Family, our partner schools, and other community organisations.
