ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Cancer Services Team at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced Occupational Therapist to lead their highly skilled team.
This role is a truly unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people who are receiving Cancer Treatment. You will be a compassionate, understanding and adaptable person who is ready to become a leader. We are looking for someone who can guide and mentor the team based on their experience and understanding of occupational therapy practice in a Cancer Therapy and Lymphoedema environment. Our Lymphoedema service provides assessment and intervention to Secondary and Chronic Oedema patients. You will have experience in leading a team through a complex case load as well as service development. The role will require someone who can think outside the square and is flexible in their approach.
You will be working with a small team who are highly supportive of each other. You will have great communication skills and be ready to progress both your own career and skills but also empower your team. You will have the opportunity to work with the other team leaders in the Cancer Therapy Service and share your knowledge and network within the wider healthcare team. The management team are always available to provide you with advice and you will be able to build your skills with the assistance of the service director and head of occupational therapy.
This role is a rare opportunity for you to utilise your Occupational Therapy experience in managing a case load of clients whilst developing your leadership skills for the future.
