Responsibilities:
- Lead the packaging team on a shiftly basis with a PCQDSM mindset; administering the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
- Ensures that daily production targets are met, and teams are operating in a clean, organized, safe and productive work environment. Uses Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to optimize team performance and make decisions to improve and optimize throughout the work areas.
- Interprets production plan schedule requirements and works with the teams to organize team members and equipment/material resources to execute the plan. Offers suggestions to improve the plan if possible. Works with the teams to analyze the team’s actual production output against schedule and adjusts the production plan accordingly.
- Responsible for new product/brand launches and trial authorities.
- Develops a strong team of individuals capable of delivering to the business with excellence and impact. This will be achieved with strong attention to performance management, holding employees accountable and employee development primarily through on-the-job work assignments
