General:
Job Title: Team Leader – Property, UK & RoW
Division: Underwriting Operations
Key Relationships: Underwriters, Brokers, Coverholders, Operation Leads, Operations Manager, Underwriting Assistants, UCO and external clients and suppliers.
Job Summary: To oversee a team of UAs and Technical UAs in maintaining efficient underwriting processes and providing customer service to clients.

  • Fluency in English and other languages based on regional business requirements
  • Accurate and numerate
  • Computer skills – good working ability with MS Office including Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Managerial experience is preferred, or a willingness to undertake Beazley’s bespoke manager training course.
  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within the insurance or financial services sectors
  • Experience within a team responsible for high volume data entry
  • Knowledge of underwriting processes and systems
