SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LEAD TO SUCCESS

  • Experience across Insurance Broking, ideally with Financial Lines or Real Estate
  • Proven leader with a passion for mentoring and training
  • Dedicated to compliance and improving processes,
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry
  • Tier 1 accreditation / Insurance Broking qualification is preferred
  • Experience in Insurance or Financial Services servicing large client volumes
  • Experience operating in a sales environment achieving clear targets and KPI’s
  • Experience using software programs or systems that might include Microsoft Office Package (MS Excel and Outlook) and CRM.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to connect with people and build trust
  • Ability to address problems creatively and show initiative
  • Analyse information and data, to find opportunities and prioritize
  • Driven towards setting and achieving goals and making a difference
  • Possess a zest for learning and ability to make sense of information and learn systems and technologies at speed.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Client Manager’s and the Client Director’s drive for greater emphasis on compliance and servicing
  • Assisting with the development of SOP guides
  • Lead all aspects of the workload of high volume quotation inbound/outbound calls, email and Salesforce leads
  • Eventually expand the portfolio of new client relationships and increase revenue across existing client base
  • Handle best in class talent acquisition, onboarding, training, coaching and leadership of a team of Client Executives
  • Drive and train team towards new business revenue along with driving leads
  • Run high volume of quotation inbound/outbound calls and email leads
  • Interface with prospects through several channels, such as Salesforce Software, and inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Research the market to develop a good understanding of client needs, industry risk and business environment
  • Negotiate terms with internal and external underwriting staff
  • Collaborating and sharing knowledge with colleagues across the team and business
  • Work within company policy, compliance, laws and regulation
