HOW YOU’LL HELP TO CREATE BRIGHTER FUTURES:

We are seeking a Team Leader/ deputy manager who is a passionate and experienced individual to support our team of residential staff and contribute to our mission of bringing lasting improvements to the lives of children and young people. You will support by:

  • Deputising in the managers absence.
  • Leading on case/care planning management for children and young people with team members
  • Carrying out regular auditing and reviews of young people’s paperwork and packages of support, in conjunction with the children, young people, their families and professionals from their wider support network
  • Supervising, guiding, inducting, and training the staff team and volunteers where required.
  • Attending professional meetings including reviews, safeguarding conferences / court work, EHC planning meetings etc.
  • Carrying out the homes monitoring and auditing processes.
  • Liaising with stakeholders and a range of other professionals and by taking the lead in specific areas of the service such as compliance, health and safety and service monitoring.
  • Managing and leading a team of residential professionals and other staff as directed in the delivery of a 24-hour rota (including management of shifts).
