Description:

Vacancy Location: Sheering, Essex CM22 7NH
Shifts: Full-time 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)
Pay Rate: £12.44 per hour

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to join our dedicated team.

First and foremost, you will provide support and care to the amazing people we support with a wide range of complex needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health needs.
As a Team Leader you will demonstrate a natural ability to motivate people and create and amazing place to work.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • RQF Level 2 or above in social care
  • Previous experience as a Team Leader/ Senior Support Worker within social care setting
  • Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities
  • Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks
  • Confident IT user

Responsibilities:

  • Empowering the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives, supporting them to flourish in a place they call home.
  • Create, organise and monitor individual care plans to ensure safe practices. You’ll ensure you understand individual needs- person-led care is at the heart of what you do.
  • Provide personal care including support with health and medication needs, handling personal possessions, finances and documents, shopping.
  • Lead the team of support workers whilst on shift, providing guidance and support for our colleagues, inspiring them to be the best they can be.
  • Organise the team to ensure all tasks are completed. Solve problems and delegate tasks, coach the team to work in a way that demonstrates an understanding and commitment to the rights of people with complex needs.
  • Manage attendance, annual leave and absences. Authorise timesheets. Plan rotas to meet service standards.
  • Follow our procedures to ensure we give consistent, safe and reliable care and support.
  • Assess and support your team to deliver brilliant quality every day.
  • Process finances and manage medication orders.
