As the Team Leader of the Information Technology Services student/internship programme, you will be instrumental in training and onboarding staff to this programme and managing the staff and their work, in developing their skills, and to benefit the university by maximising the impact of the student internship team.
The Team Leader in Workforce Development plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organisation possesses the skills and knowledge necessary for success. This position demands strong leadership, programme development, and collaboration skills to establish and sustain effective workforce development initiatives.

Key tasks of the role include:

  • Leading the creation of workforce plans, ensuring we have the right skills to meet our goals.
  • Assessing current workforce skills, capabilities, and potential.
  • Helping develop our planning approach and overseeing how our plans are put into action.
  • Predicting future workforce needs based on business plans and external factors.
  • Keeping an inventory of skills and capabilities and find ways to fill any gaps.
