Description:

We are looking for a Team Manager within the Premises department in our Network Services (NS). NS is responsible for designing, implementation and operation of Elisa’s networks.
Job description
In this role you will direct the team’s daily operations and make significant decisions relating to finances and personnel. Your decisions will typically have an impact on the success of our business and customer satisfaction. You will guide and lead your team’s operations and planning (e.g. objectives, actions and financial planning) in accordance with our strategy. You will be an active member of the Premises management team.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing the department’s strategy on premises, including making decisions on which facilities are developed, which are not actively invested in, and which are not needed.
  • Overall management and development of our portfolio of premises, including property sales, auctions and exits, and collaborating with relevant authorities.
  • Premises optimization and directing technological choices and investments in accordance with strategic objectives.
  • Understanding customer needs and conceptualizing premises to meet these needs.
  • Active partner management and communication with internal stakeholders, business representatives, customers and suppliers.
  • Leading and coaching a team of experts, including delegating responsibilities within the team. Resourcing and developing your team of technology managers to meet quality, cost, and performance objectives and to experiment with new technologies.
  • Participating in budgeting discussions and reporting on the costs and investments of your area of responsibility.
  • Reporting support on the key activities and assisting the management by producing analyses and presentations on the team’s work.

Helsinki is the preferred location, but you can also work from other locations in Finland.
Requirements

For you to succeed in this role, we expect you to have the following:

  • Solid and provable understanding and experience of property and partner management, production premises and collaboration with authorities. Working with data centers is a significant plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant positions in e.g. consulting or technical engineering.
  • Recent supervisory experience and an understanding of coaching personnel.
  • Understanding and experience of strategic planning and financial forecasting.
  • A Master’s-level degree in building technology or another relevant field.
  • Fluent Finnish and English language skills.
