SUMMARY:

The Team Trainer works with all Team members and Leaders to set well-defined and achievable goals. The Team Trainer will help increase the skills and confidence of leaders while collaborating with management to identify and develop company training curriculum needs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s in training and development or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of Electrical trade experience preferred.
  • Experience in designing and implementing employee development programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Be highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess excellent public speaking skills.
  • Coaching senior leaders on how to improve their ability to manage effectively within their organization.
  • Develop training programs related to leadership development, coaching, conflict resolution, communication skills, or other topics relevant to leadership development.
  • Providing ongoing feedback to employees on their leadership skills over time as they progress through their career.
  • Helping managers develop effective leadership styles that suit their personalities and situations.
  • Creating development plans for individual leaders based on their needs and goals.
  • Developing training programs for new hires on topics such as communication skills, conflict resolution, ethics, diversity awareness, and team building.
  • Observing managers in their work environment to determine areas where they can improve their leadership skills.
  • Schedule appropriate training sessions, notify employees of trainings and ensure appropriate employees are present.
  • Ability to communicate and teach various types of professionals from technicians to office administrators.
  • Oversee and direct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and lectures.
  • Plan and implement an effective training curriculum and programs.
  • Supervise training budgets.
  • Prepare hard copy training materials (module summaries, videos, presentations) and arrange training space as needed.
  • Arrange food accommodations for trainings as needed.
  • Train, guide, onboard, and mentor new employees.
  • Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training guidelines.
  • Track and compile collected data.
  • Monitor employee performance.
  • Develop a schedule to assess training needs.
  • Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership.
  • Conceptualize training materials based on data and research.
  • Communicate training needs and online resources.
  • Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials.
  • Contact and utilize outside vendors and resources for instructional technology.
  • Test and review created materials.
  • Maintain a database of all training materials.
  • Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment for trainings.
