In the position of Senior QEHS Business Partner at Arla Foods, you will serve as the “Technical QEHS Representative.” You will develop and maintain internal and external relationships, promote best practices in quality, food safety, environment, and health & safety throughout the company. Your goal is to position Arla Foods as a market leader. The key to success in this position lies in your passion for quality, environment, health, and safety, as well as your ability to become a trusted advisor to the organization. You have the drive to advocate for your own ideas and implement leading initiatives in quality, environment, health, and safety.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge in an FMCG environment, either on the supplier or retailer side.
  • Technical background with a degree in food science or a related field.
  • Experience in leading teams or projects, especially in the field of quality, environment, health, and safety.
  • Demonstrable core technical competencies in product development, legislation, quality and food safety, process development, and risk management.
  • Experience in collaborating with international teams or in multicultural environments.
  • Clear business acumen, recognizing the role that customers and consumers play.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively while comfortably making autonomous decisions when appropriate.

  • Monitor, develop, and implement best-in-class health and safety standards, as well as quality standards for the End-to-End Supply Chain.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration in quality, environment, health, and safety.
  • Participate in the Production leadership team for Central Europe as a business partner to the Production Vice President.
  • Set the strategic direction of the function to ensure the technical team addresses the comprehensive needs of customers and the business.
  • Take a commercial approach and develop strong, value-adding relationships with retailers.
  • Represent Arla through participation in industry bodies such as IFS and the Milchindustrie Verband.
  • Highlight and enhance awareness of food-related issues such as nutrition, animal welfare, and sustainability.
  • Manage crises and serious incidents, including responsibility for liaising with authorities in Germany.
