SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

  • Lead development teams with demonstrated experience in establishing coding standards and guiding system designs aligned with architecture.
  • Collaborate in software design and development utilizing .NET, Java, and Azure technologies, with expertise in various related technologies including JavaScript, Spring Boot, and Azure Functions.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of middleware services and the software development lifecycle, contributing to the design and development of innovative software applications to streamline business processes.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and experienced with Azure DevOps tools and services such as Repos, Boards, and Pipelines, along with familiarity with Azure App Service, Logic Apps, and API Management.
  • Possession of degrees in IT or Software Engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE.

Our Federal Government client is seeking an adept technical/developer lead to oversee a team in this modernization effort, with expertise in designing and developing enterprise software. Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and technical documentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate should have proven leadership in guiding development teams, establishing coding standards, and aligning system designs with architecture. They must possess collaborative software development experience across various technologies including .NET, Java, and Azure, along with familiarity with middleware services and agile methodologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and the team to translate business requirements into technical designs, providing expertise in system architecture and solution design.
  • Analyze, plan, and manage product development for transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business processes and application requirements.
  • Lead the development team through all stages of the software development life cycle, including design, coding, testing, and debugging, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and enforce best practices to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Mentor team members, foster professional growth, and implement industry best practices to enhance skills development.
  • Ensure software quality standards by enforcing code standards, conducting unit testing, and implementing continuous improvement practices, including developing and maintaining web-based UI using ReactJS, CSS, and HTML, and creating and maintaining API contracts for data mapping between integrated systems using WSDLs, XML Schemas, XML payloads, and Open API specifications, and developing enterprise-grade integrated services using .NET, Java, SQL Server, serverless technologies, and Azure native components.
