• Concept Development : Create and develop initial design concepts for the cabin interior, exterior, including layout, aesthetics, materials, and features.
• 3D Modeling and CAD : Fluent in CATIA (CAD) software to produce detailed 3D models and technical drawings of interior, exterior components and assemblies.
• Ergonomics and Human Factors : Ensure that designs meet ergonomic standards and are user-friendly, considering factors like comfort, accessibility, and safety.
• Materials Selection : Select appropriate materials for interior components, balancing factors such as weight, durability, cost, and aesthetics.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other engineering teams (e.g., structural, mechanical, electrical) to ensure design compatibility and integration.
• Compliance and Standards : Ensure that designs comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company guidelines.
• Prototyping and Testing : Develop and oversee the creation of prototypes and conduct testing to validate design performance and safety.
• Problem Solving : Identify and resolve design issues throughout the development process, including addressing feedback from testing and user evaluations.
• Documentation : Create detailed documentation, including specifications, manuals, and reports to support manufacturing and maintenance.
• Customer and Stakeholder Interaction : Engage with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with the design
