REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are highly desirable.
• 10+ years of professional experience in a senior engineering role, demonstrating a profound understanding of back-end development, particularly in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven leadership experience, such as Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, or similar, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability in managing and mentoring engineering teams to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience working in a global engineering team, including collaboration with geographically dispersed teams.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS), scalable architectures, and modern software development practices.
• Proficient problem-solving and production debugging skills.
• Excellent English skills (Dutch not required as of our lovely multilingual team) with the ability to structure thoughts and express them clearly verbally and in writing.
