TECH SUPPORT AND DATA SENIOR ANALYST, INTERNAL AUDIT TEAM (JOB NUMBER: IG-042924-001-ND)

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Recent experience providing technical and tools support at a departmental level.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • `6-9 years of experience, including audit and/or finance experience
  • Prior experience in an internal audit, database management, and data science.
  • Mid-level IT skills – SQL knowledge, database schema knowledge, understanding of Internet Information Server (IIS), .aspx language used for IIS, and Microsoft Windows in general (especially for trouble shooting).
  • Must be able to diagnose a problem (i.e., whether it is related to IT or the application). Mid-level understanding of MS Office and programming skills for extended reporting.
  • Ability to apply technical logic to solve problems and an ability to understand database layouts and features.
  • Mid to advanced level skills with different visualization tools – mainly PowerBI, PowerQuery, & Tableau.
  • Mid to advanced level skills in coding – having worked regularly with Python or equivalent languages.
  • Mid-level knowledge with Data Science concepts (KNN, Isolation Forest, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence) – having used these concepts among others on projects.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships. Should be able to speak and write at a technical level as well as at an executive level as interactions will be with IT and non-IT staff and executives.
  • Priority management and multi-tasking
  • Ability to readily grasp business and technical fundamentals
  • Ability to train sizable groups and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to demonstrate business tactical and strategic thinking, innovation and creativity
  • Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Knowledge of the English language is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Advanced Degree
  • Experience working in large global financial services organization (preferably Investment Banking / Asset Management)
  • Strong Enthusiasm and energy for Data Science
