Kraken is the technology tentacle of the Octopus Energy Group.
Kraken Technologies is a company within Octopus Energy Group who are licensing the Kraken platform and operating model to clients across the world. Current clients are both the Octopus Energy Retail businesses around the world as well as external clients such as Good Energy, Origin, EDF, E.ON & Queensland Energy - with many more expected to join over the next few years!
We have been licensing Kraken for over 3 years now, transforming businesses by not only moving their customer base to our Kraken platform but also changing their operating model & ways of working. Throughout this time our team has been at the forefront of industry leading migrations whilst setting a new standard for what business transformation can look like.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• You’ll need to know how to screen and source the best talent
• Experience sourcing and recruiting across technology roles in a fast moving business
• You’ll need to interview candidates, so previous experience screening and assessing candidates across a variety of roles for both hard skills and cultural qualities is needed
• If you have experience managing high volume roles this would great!
• We are in a fast moving business and our needs can change quickly. We are looking for a proactive person who enjoys raising up to new challenges!
• You love to work with all kinds of people - you’ve got no functional shoulder pads - it’s not ‘my team versus other teams’, it’s ‘we’re all working together to change the energy system globally, and I’ll lend anyone a hand’. Having a strong team spirit is a must for this position

• This role is focused on end to end recruitment. Sourcing, screening and progressing candidates through the interview pipelines
• Working with and building relationships with hiring managers
• Build great relationships with candidates - we’re passionate about candidate experience!
• Constantly provide an amazing candidate experience and look to always improve this across the team
• You’ll need to source, attract and recruit the best candidates
• Work collaboratively across the wider international recruitment team
• Run octopus recruitment open days and events across our main offices locations
• You will be working for Kraken, the technology tentacle of Octopus Energy Group. You will be focused on hiring back-end and front-end developers, product managers, client delivery leads and any other position in Kraken in Germany
