Description:
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Our Government client is seeking one Senior Technical Architect professional to support modernizing IM/IT systems to improve and expand capabilities for collaborative development, distribution and management of the National Model Construction Codes, National Master Specifications and product assessment services (Canadian Construction Materials Centre). The IT modernization program will include the deployment and integration of new Microsoft 365/Azure and commercial off-the-shelf solutions to improve and expand collaboration, workflow and content/data management capabilities.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Facilitating meetings with internal stakeholders, including end-users, project sponsors and managers, in order to increase buy-in and confidence in the approach
- Advising on and contributing to deployment planning, user stories / sprint planning, development approach, test strategies, etc.
- Elaborating overall solution architecture based on business requirements and project objectives, and collaborating with the Project Manager and Program Manager in updating and maintaining the project roadmap and target state
Responsibilities:
