We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Aviation Product Development Manager/Architect to spearhead our product development initiatives, focusing on crafting cutting-edge aviation products and services. This

• Guide the inception, design, development, and deployment of novel aviation products and solutions, ensuring alignment with market demands and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate intimately with engineering, design, and operations teams to establish product specificationsand architectures that meet strategic goals and comply with industry benchmarks.
• Navigate the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to market introduction, managingtimelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Undertake thorough market research to discern industry trends and customer needs, shaping thetrajectory of future product development endeavors.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation, motivating the team to embrace novel technologies and approaches inaviation product design.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to the development team, fostering professional growth andexcellence.
• Assume responsibility for engineering products/platforms, developing protocols, and virtualizationtailored to business solutions.
• Apply architectural and engineering principles to devise solutions that fulfill operational needs,emphasizing scalability, security, and reliability.
• Lead and participate in R&D efforts, serving as a subject matter expert during the introduction of newtechnologies, in collaboration with the team and Product Owners.
• Engage with IT and various business units to elucidate business requirements, contributing to long-termsystem planning and ensuring alignment between IT offerings and business needs.
• Craft high-level migration plans to bridge current and future states, in accordance with IT budgeting orcapital planning cycles.
• Offer technology consultation to solution architects and team members, ensuring coherent use ofdomain technologies within solutions.
• Interface with Enterprise Architects, OEMs, and technical leaders to define business solutions tailored tospecific standards and technology stacks, including the creation of complete RFPs.
• Articulate architectural visions, recommendations, and reusable patterns, proposing investmentroadmaps to stakeholders.
• Design and oversee the implementation of custom solutions, ensuring integration with the broadertechnology ecosystem.
• Diagnose integration challenges between business and product units, recommending solutions that enhance the overall technology framework.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation technology and product architecture.
• Mastery of project management tools and methodologies used in software development.
• Up-to-date with the latest aviation industry trends and technologies.
• Proficient in leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams on multi-stakeholder projects.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Other cloud native technologies required for creating highly fault tolerant and scalable application.
