Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-4.30pm
Reporting to the Technical Compliance Lead, this role will see you manage the asset management function within the VIVO CAFAM system (Maximo) and m anage a small team to make necessary amendments to asset data within Maximo, to include:
Adding new Level 4 assets
Link maintainable assets to correct SFG20 Schedules
Setting up the CAFM with correct next due dates
Updating Project Managers with the latest version of SFG20 Schedules and liaise with the commercial team to identify any cost implications
Focal point for Level 2 contract changes. Work in conjunction with DIO/VIVO Commercial to implement all contract changes.
Ensure asset change requests from operational teams are actioned in a timely manner
You will also w ork with Tier 1 suppliers to labour smooth existing PPM tasks, s upport the DIO technical working groups advising on potential changes to SFG20 Schedules and d raft SFG20 Schedules for specialist asset equipment not currently covered under core SFG20 schedules and issue to the DIO MIRS team for publication.
The role will require you to w ork with operational teams, suppliers, and client to support compliance, reduce risk and effect change leading to continual improvement, s upport operational teams with handover of new buildings, ensuring all asset data is captured and set up within the CAFM, s upport any new contract awards to VIVO and s upport any future development to the CAFM system, s upport VIVO teams and client on technical issues and initiatives and lead/support in Technical Investigations and Improvement initiatives.
Other responsibilities will include a dding value and advising on cost effective solutions to technical issues in support of compliance, life cycle and assets, i dentifying trends through knowledge capture of our audit activities and CAFM systems to identify risks and enable priorities to be established to rectify, i nvestigate and advise on any potential cost and performance efficiencies, i dentify necessary changes in process effecting compliance, risk, and efficient working practices and a udit certificate management within the CAFM to ensure compliance / processes are being implemented.
This role is a home based position, however, you will be required to attend in person team meetings which are usually held in Liverpool, but can be held anywhere in Central England, so the ability to travel will be essential when required.
What You Need To Do The Job
First and foremost, you should hold HN C/HND/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification. This role requires technical knowledge so it is important that you have appropriate knowledge.
You should also have detailed knowledge of legal and compliance regulations relating to Facilities Management and asset management principles and maintenance requirements, as well as good working knowledge of CAFM systems.
It is important that you have excellent communication skills, a good working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical assets and the application of SFG20 Schedules, the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and a high level of attention to detail to ensure that the standardisation and integrity of the Asset database is maintained.
