TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST, DATA QUALITY, REMEDIATION AND MANAGEMENT

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Tertiary qualifications in health information management, business, computer science, information technology or related discipline or demonstrated equivalent professional experience and training;
- Demonstrated data management experience in working with large scale datasets, preferably in a complex health environment;
- Demonstrated experience with SQL Server and data warehousing;
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management including negotiating and influencing to achieve positive outcomes.
- Understanding of the NSW Health Records and Information Privacy Act and other relevant legislation.
Responsibilities:
The position will work with key stakeholders in the Screening and Prevention Division to understand and document relevant requirements for data warehouse and new information system project initiatives. The role requires strong negotiation, business analysis, data interrogation, analytical and documentation skills in order to translate business needs into functional requirements and technical specifications for the multiple projects that aid in the improvement of cancer outcomes in NSW.
