BUSINESS ANALYST

Lake Shore Associates (LSA) is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to support our client’s projects in the Customer Loyalty & Rewards space. The ideal candidate will have strong data analytical skills, experience working with IT and Technology teams, excellent technical documentation practices and business acumen to support Client’s technology implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze business and system requirements in support of implementing software solutions.
• Perform requirement and systems analysis, supporting design and data preparation for development of software solutions.
• Act as a liaison by working with multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies and requirements for the IT organization.
• Responsible for ensuring unique business needs are properly translated to functional specifications and supported by the system solution.
• Organize and present complex technical information effectively.
• Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
• Work both independently and as an integral member of a team.
• Analyze data and data elements needed to support implementation of software solutions.
• Work collaboratively with business team members, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), technical teams and project managers on projects during all phases of software development life cycle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 5 years of Technical Business Analysis experience is required.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working in a consulting environment.
• Experience in data analysis, functional/technical design, data normalization, and user acceptance testing.
• At least 3 years in Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, SharePoint).
• Experience building and maintaining technical system documentation including application programming interfaces (API), data elements, Service Level Agreements (SLA), and error handling).
• Exposure working with technology solutions supporting Cornerstone Learning Management System and Edcast Learning Experience Platform by Cornerstone. Experience with x and y products a plus.
• Exposure working in a highly regulated and mandate-driven industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, medical devices, financial services).
