Let’s talk about this role
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for confirming and analysing business users’ requirements, developing the criteria which will form the basis for the assessment, and identifying appropriate solutions using your problem-solving abilities.

Some other key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Acting as a liaison between the AI, Machine Learning and Data Science squad and the broader IT Department as well as other business departments and vendors.
  • Determining solutions to business problems by analysing, assessing and documenting business requirements, business process improvements, benefits, issues, risks, financial implications and interdependencies.
  • Actively engaging with key stakeholders in clearly documenting, base lining and tracking requirements through to implementation.
  • Supporting continuous improvement in technology and processes inside the team, ensuring the technological undertaking is aligned to business needs and goals.
  • Communicating complex ideas in a way that’s easy to understand to a range of audiences with varying levels of technical background.

Let’s talk about you
With a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in IT business analysis in large or complex environments, other skills and experience that will set you up for success include:

Strong understanding of the solution development lifecycle including agile work practices.

  • Ability to work autonomously combined with excellent organisation skills.
  • Ability to conduct large group workshops and present to all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A broad enterprise-wide view and understanding of business processes and drivers having significant work experience within large-medium size business corporations.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Previous experience with data analysis, data science and machine learning techniques is desirable.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation and techniques to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
