Technical Business Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Analyse Business Processes:
  Support the mapping and reviewing of existing business processes to identify areas of improvements, focusing on achieving cost savings, quality improvements, increased efficiencies, and reduced risk.

Evaluate the viability and feasibility of solutions to improve identified business processes.

• Identify Business Needs:

Elicit and analyse business and information requirements from key stakeholders, assessing relevant solutions and their potential impact.
Support the development of business cases defining potential benefits, solutions to increase efficiencies of business processes, and associated risks.

Translate business needs into analytic and reporting requirements.

• Develop Technical Specifications:

Translate business requirements and user needs into functional specifications.
Verify that business requirements are incorporated into system design.

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on User Acceptance Testing.

• Analyse Data:

Recommend, identify, and gather data from internal systems and external sources.
Clean databases for duplicate, outdated, or irrelevant information.
Perform data validations and quality control checks.

Mine data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.

• Report Insights:

Design data reports and use visualization tools to facilitate data understanding.

• Facilitate Change Management:

Support the development of change management plans.
Develop technical documentation and training materials.

Conduct user training to facilitate the adoption of new systems.

• Others:

Function as Project Manager when required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical Skills and Competency:Business needs analysis (Gap analysis, capability analysis, etc.).Business process re-engineering (Lean Six Sigma, Agile Methodology, etc.).Data Engineering, Analysis, and Visualization (SQL, Python, Tableau, Qlikview, etc.).Software Testing.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and strong people management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
• Strong team player with transdisciplinary thinking.
