JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a proficient Technical Business Analyst to join our Transactional Banking Team, contributing technical expertise to the successful execution of complex banking programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both business analysis and technical domains, with specialized knowledge in Transactional Banking or Corporate Banking areas such as Core Banking Payments, Lending or Cash Management, Trade Finance, and Supply Chain Finance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst within the banking industry, with a focus on Transactional Banking or Corporate Banking domains.
• Strong understanding of both business and technical aspects of banking processes, systems, and regulations.
• Proficiency in analyzing complex data and systems, with experience in data modeling, system integration, and software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile or iterative development environments.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) and/or technical certifications (e.g., ITIL, TOGAF) are advantageous

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications and solutions.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems and processes, identifying potential risks and opportunities for optimization within the Transactional Banking domain.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough analysis of data and systems to identify opportunities for automation, integration, and enhancement within the Transactional Banking or Corporate Banking landscape.
• Facilitate discussions and workshops to gather requirements, clarify technical issues, and drive consensus among stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including system architecture diagrams, data models, interface specifications, and technical user stories.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance Analysts to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria, ensuring that technical solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
• Provide technical expertise and support to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any technical challenges or concerns that may arise.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes within the Transactional Banking or Corporate Banking space, evaluating their potential impact on project delivery and providing recommendations to the team.
