DESIGNATION : Technical Consultant (Ansible Deployment)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in deploying and managing Ansible in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, SDK Development, Web Service Development)
  • Proficiency in developing Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules using YAML, Python, Bash, Shell scripting.
  • Experienced with configuration management tools, such as Puppet or Chef, is a plus.
  • Experienced with Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, repository such as Git or BitBucket
  • Solid knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systems and command-line tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure or GCP, and their APIs for infrastructure automation, is a plus.
  • CI/CD Pipeline hands-on knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Banking and Financial Services Use cases would be desirable.
  • Relevant certifications in Ansible or related technologies are desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and IT infrastructure, and provide expert advice on how Ansible can address their needs
  • Design and develop Ansible Playbooks, roles, and modules to automate various IT tasks, including application deployment, configuration management, and system provisioning
  • Assist clients in the installation, configuration, and integration of Ansible within their existing systems, ensuring compatibility and smooth operation
  • Conduct assessments of client environments to identify areas for automation and process improvement and propose suitable Ansible-based solutions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to implement Ansible automation in complex IT environments
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients during the entire deployment lifecycle, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Ansible
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to educate clients on Ansible best practices, usage, and maintenance
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Ansible and related technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on client solutions.
