Description:
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
- Whilst not mandatory, a relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification in ICT or a business related discipline will be highly regarded.
We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Detailed knowledge, understanding and experience in the ICT technical communications infrastructure environment - supporting call and dispatch operations, consisting of critical telephony, computer aided dispatch solution, mobile data solution and its networks, back-end infrastructure, system integration and various software applications.
- Substantial technical and application knowledge of communications technology environments which can be utilised to recommend solutions and strategies to decision makers and influence the development of policy within a large, diverse emergency service organisation.
- Demonstrated high level experience in directing, managing and coordinating internal and external technical resources within a complex environment of changing priorities and needs with limited resources.
- Demonstrated technical coordination skills with a proven track record of achieving quality outcomes within a structured project management framework.
- Extensively developed skills in consultation, engagement and communication (written and verbal), with a diverse group of stakeholders, in an environment of change.
- Proven ability to contribute to technical design and architecture decisions and experience in developing technical requirements specification, quality assurance and transition to support documentation in a public sector ICT environment.
