JOB DESCRIPTION:

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or related technical discipline (Aerospace Engineering, IT, Industrial Engineer, Technical Writing, …)
• Ability for clear formulation of specifications and requirements
• High interest in IT- and Data Management related topics is required
• Knowledge of international aerospace TID standards is preferred (ASD S-Series ILS Specifications, mainly S1000D)
• Programming Skills
• Knowledge of desktop publishing software, XML markup languages and CSDB knowledge and implementation expertise preferred
• Strong background in technical documentation is a plus
• Interdisciplinary thinking and acting
• Fluent German and English are mandatory
• Experience in working in a regulated Technical Publications environment is a plus (i.e. aerospace technical documentation)
• Beneficial application skills: XML Editors, S1000D CSDB, 3DEXPERIENCE

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

Entry Level

We are seeking a dedicated team player with a background in technical documentation and experience in digital transformation, including AI integration. The ideal candidate will have expertise in areas such as XML or documentation tools, with a demonstrated understanding of artificial intelligence applications in documentation processes. Experience in developing and implementing digital solutions, as well as an understanding of agile methodologies, is advantageous. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are also crucial. A completed degree or equivalent education in a relevant field is expected.
